Distribution Network Solutions
Our Distributed network connectivity framework to secure a reliable way to connect with servers and speed up the connectivity. Our technology encodes network data using a combination of linear algebra and the unique properties of random numbers, this algorithm recreates lost packets on the fly. Because the algorithm is based on principles of linear algebra, it is CPU processing efficient. No technology is without some cost and in ATP’s case there is less than 1ms latency in encoding and decoding network data. We see significant increases in usable network bandwidth in the presence of packet loss and congestion.
The technology solves the data loss problem by converting regular internet content to math formulas that rebuild the lost video and content on the fly and mitigates TCP’s retransmission packet interference by recreating them on the receiving side from other mathematically encoded packets. The technology is lightweight and efficient as it speeds connectivity throughput by 30% to 300% when 1/8th of 1% to 10% of data is lost and we continue making improvements beyond that.
It’s not magic, but ATP technology recreates missing data and packet loss on the fly within the Transport Layer by using linear mathematical algorithms. The graph below illustrates our technology compared with TCP in a lossy network.
Our team is available for a detailed discussion of benefits and technical aspects of either use the stand-alone ATP tunnel app, or the use of ATP within Zoom’s infrastructure.
